The primary aim of this event was to raise awareness of the healthcare professional, the care provider and the patient in order to look towards the same result: the <strong>prevention of skin damages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, MUVU presented its <em>Healthcare Product Class I<\/em>, aimed at the prevention of diabetic foot. Many leaders in this sector took part in this event, such as Hoffman, Nestl\u00e9, Urgo, etc.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00e9sar Canales, medical advisor of the MUVU textile laboratories, explained the clinical case \u201c<strong>Pathology: diabetic foot ulcer. Complementary treatment approach<\/strong>\u201d, and proved the effectiveness of the use of a special garment as an important treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The first impression about this clinical case was a complete surprise, because of the results and the interest that this sock, for the prevention of diabetic foot, aroused in the sector. It was explained that the use of a bandage between the sock and the skin lesion was not necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion and conclusion of this case was very well received by the attending public.
